Hi guys. Loved the show at Coventry this week(23/10/23) fantastic new album and look back songs. Hoping to join you again next year. However, we missed the name of the female artist who sang with you. We would like to listen more-what was her name? Sorry we missed it! Simon & Laura

Thanks so much for coming down, it felt great to finally be playing these new songs to you guys! At the moment we are lucky enough to be joined by Olive Jones on vocals who is filling in for our usual singer Saint Clair while she takes time away from music to focus on some personal commitments. They both make wonderful music in their own right and I highly recommend checking them out.

You’re stuck in a bunker in a nuclear fallout. You’re allowed 3 tinned foods (unlimited supply of those 3 foods). What are you picking?
Tinned Tuna, Baked Beans (must be Heinz) and Holsten Pils… Beer is pretty much a food right? It certainly makes you feel very full after a few frosty bad bois.

What was the track played on the P.A. before you started your set at Oxford last week?  It was a great gig, thanks . Best wishes, Dave

It was Peaches En Regalia by Frank Zappa, a song that we used to walk on stage to back in the day that we’ve resurrected recently. It’s one of our favourites. We were just talking the other day about the impact it has had on My Big Day along with a lot of Frank Zappa’s music, there’s a sense of joy and silliness in everything he does whilst still being carefully crafted. You get a sense he doesn’t take himself too seriously whilst still striving for his music to be the best it can be.

Hey – sorry to hijack your fan questions (but we are fans so hope that’s ok!) Have you ever thought about doing screen printed posters for your tours? We are a screen printing studio in Norwich and would love to work with you on some for your upcoming tour – so please get in touch if that’s something you would be interested in doing! Cheers – Jo

No need to apologise for hijacking our fan questions… I’m going to hijack your question now with some equally shameless self promotion! Silkscreen prints are very much on the agenda for our next run of touring, I’ve always loved when bands do boutique prints for specific tours and shows. In fact my favourite piece of merch that we’ve ever made was a poster to celebrate us playing the last show at Earls Court which references the first gig poster for that venue.

I’ve designed a print for our upcoming European tour this month and I’ve already started work on a poster for our UK/IR Tour and Ally Pally show.

In answer to your question there is a great deal of potential to work on something. Thanks for reaching out!

When can we hope to see you in Chicago? Maybe summer 2024???????? 🙂

When are you coming to southern California?

Any USA tours please?! 🙁

Any plans on coming to the Southeast US at any point? I’ve been a huge fan for many years now but haven’t had a chance to see you live yet!

These questions have been piling up in the Bombay inbox for quite some time and it feels so good to be able to answer them in one fell swoop.  If you’ve made it this far you’ve seen above that we’re finally coming back to tour in March-May 2024.  I’m sorry it’s been so long since we were over, it’s one of the best countries to play and we can’t wait to see you all soon!!

LISTEN TO my big day
